It’s flexible, cost-effective, and compatible with standard forklifts. Double-Deep and Drive-In
Double-deep increases density but reduces direct access; it is best for larger batch quantities. Drive-in/drive-through racks maximise cube use by storing pallets in lanes, which is ideal for high-volume, same-SKU goods. However, they require tighter forklift control.
Push-Back and Pallet Flow
Push-back racking uses nested carts, so pallets roll forward as you unload, delivering strong density with fewer aisles and efficient LIFO handling. Pallet flow also uses gravity rollers to achieve FIFO rotation, which is great for perishables and time-sensitive inventory that must move in order.
